Palm Hours is an Orange County, California alternative/pop-punk band carrying the urgency of the 2000s into a modern West Coast sound.

Palm Hours comes out of the Orange County and Southern California alternative scene with a sound built from emotionally direct songwriting, loud guitars and the melodic pull of 2000s pop-punk.
Frontman and founder Gary Bender leads the band. Bassist Kevin Roddy brings history from Lorene Drive, including Vans Warped Tour, Taste of Chaos and The Bamboozle Festival. San Clemente drummer and producer Nick Wejbe rounds out the live lineup.
The geography matters, but Palm Hours is not a local-only project. The catalog is built for listeners anywhere modern pop-punk, alternative rock and emo still hit hard.

Palm Hours draws from the immediacy and melodic energy associated with early-2000s pop-punk without turning into a nostalgia act. The songs live in the overlap between contemporary alternative, pop-punk and emotionally driven rock.
Recent releases include “Burn Out,” “Worry About Me,” “Keep Breathing,” “Another Sad Song” and “Feels Like Summer.” The 2026 single “Say Good Night” features Bradley Walden of Emarosa, while “Cadillac” features Jonny Craig.
Those collaborations and the band’s growing streaming catalog give Palm Hours a discovery path that extends well beyond Orange County while keeping the Southern California identity intact.
